Youth in Action

“Rejoice while you are young and let your heart cheer you…”
Ecclesiastes 11:9

We believe that viable programming for our church youth is not only of critical importance to the spiritual and emotional health and well-being of our young people, but to the long-term life of our church family. The call to teach and support our youth is one that Green Valley Church takes very seriously.

Middle and High School Classes

Beginning in September Middle and High School classes meet on Sunday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Confirmation classes

Confirmation classes are held annually for young people interested in joining the church.

Youth groups

Youth groups meet on Sunday evenings for activities, discussions, worship and just hanging out.

Throughout the year youth programming includes retreats, lock-ins, fund raisers, summer camp and activities with other youth groups.

Each year a week long mission trip is planned and held. All youth are welcome at all activities!

Call the church office at 454-8484 for more details on ways to get involved as a participant or leader.

Always Learning

“…and what you have heard from me entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well.”
2 Timothy 2:2

Always LearningWe believe that Christian education at Green Valley Presbyterian Church is central to our spiritual growth and vital to the life of the congregation. We affirm that reading the Bible and listening carefully to a good sermon are invaluable tools, but exploring questions, sharing ideas and relating Christian thought to day to day living helps breathe new meaning into the words we read and hear. Our programs point toward equipping believers for tangibly reflecting their faith in the everyday world.

That’s why we offer classes for all ages…. helping each one of us, old or young, to mature in faith individually and as a church community.
